We’re Russ and Trish. Originally from near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, we’ve called Henderson, NV our home for the past 14-ish years. We met in college and our love for the outdoors, technology, music, and Wes Anderson films brought us together and eventually to Las Vegas.
In the past, Trish worked as a zookeeper, environmental educator, and park ranger, but now holds a steady desk job in public relations and communication. Russ has been the steady one, working as a web developer for over 20 years.
The Hardware
Our First Trailer: A-Frame Camper
After years of camping in tents and then a tent pop-up camper, we upgraded our camping experience to an a-frame hardsided camper, a 2016 Comet Starcraft H1235 Extreme. The upgrade let us go on far more adventures in style and comfort.
Over five years we spent 48 amazing nights camping in our a-frame trailer with our shiba inu and black. We’ve since said our hardest goodbyes to those best boys and welcomed a new shiba, Rocky, as our new camping buddy.
2021: New Normal, New Travel Trailer
In 2020, our jobs went fully remote and allowed us more leeway to work remotely permanently. 2021, we made the tough decision to sell our a-frame and upgrade to a full size travel trailer. We hope to make working remotely from our RV part of our life at least a few times a year and enjoy camping in our trailer on as many weekend as possible.

We know our lives on this Earth are short. We value family, conservation, and contentment as the things that matter the most.
